The approach, explained
The five-step chain from the homepage, unpacked — how practice science actually becomes a session that helps.
MICRO changes, macro OUTCOMES.
- We practice science
Every method Aditi uses is backed by clinical research, not intuition or trend. Schema Therapy, ACT, DBT, CBT, Parts Work — each has an evidence base, and each gets used only where that evidence actually applies to what you're bringing.
- Applied through method
Evidence isn't useful until it's a method you can actually do in a room. Aditi matches the framework to the person — sometimes that's the structure of CBT, sometimes the pacing of DBT, sometimes Parts Work's more exploratory shape. Working out which one is the clinician's job, not yours.
- Shaped by emotion
Method still has to bend around what's actually in the room. A technique that's technically correct but ignores what you're feeling in that session isn't being used well — so the plan adjusts session to session, not just intake to intake.
- Turned into action
Understanding why a pattern exists doesn't change it on its own. Somewhere along the way, insight has to become something you actually do differently — the sessions build toward that, not just toward talking about it.
- Through collaboration
You're not handed a plan, you help build one. And where it's useful, Aditi works directly with psychiatrists and other specialists too, so your care is considered from more than one angle when it needs to be.
